“I think I've been sent on another wild goose chase. There's nothing here but rocks, dirt, and a ton of monsters. Hmm, maybe she wants me dead.” You nodded, agreeing with yourself. “I bet that's it. She wants to keep all the treasure to herself, that little trickster.” With a loud sigh you gave up the idea that there might be any kind of valuable items in this cave. You would have left a long time ago, if you could find your way out. Instead of an exit or treasures, you'd found horde after horde of monsters. Most of these creatures you could take care of with relative ease, but after hours of fighting, you were tired and in no mood to fight. “I seem to have a problem with getting myself lost. Maybe if I just wait here for a while, I'll get lucky and someone will show up.” Not even a moment passed before you heard the quiet, metallic sound of footsteps. “That worked better than expected.”
Just the footsteps, wer

Yuffie happily made her way from the closet, and walked straight over to you. “I've had my eye on you for a while now you know. You're sitting over here squirming like a worm or something. You must be seriously itching to play.” She smiled wide and offered you her hand. “So why don't you go ahead and play next?”
“Seriously?” Trying to hold back a dorky grin you took her hand, stood to your feet and stretched. “Well, if you insist, I won't argue with you.” You placed your hand in Yuffie's hat and pulled out a mall keyring in the design of a chocobo. “Just about everyone likes chocobo's. So I don't have a clue who this might belong to.”
“I guess it's not a very defining item, but it's all I had in my possession.” Ace walked over to you looking rather uninterested in the game. You'd only met him once or twice before, so you really weren't all that sure what to expect. As soon as he wa

“When you said lavish, this isn't exactly what I had in mind. I was thinking a spa, or a hot tub, even a fancy restaurant or something like that.” After having to wait almost an entire month for your promised date with Kuja, you were not in the least impressed with where he'd decided to take you. As odd and confusing as Kuja had been during your last meeting, you really should have learned to expect the unexpected. Unfortunately, you didn't, and because of that, the scene in front of you, left you feeling very underwhelmed.
Kuja closed his eyes loosely and let out a quiet snort. You'd obviously offended him. “Is there something wrong with my choice of venue? I didn't hear you make any suggestions after all.”
“There's nothing wrong with it, I just wasn't expecting, well this.” You opened your arms wide, gesturing to everything in your sight. “I mean, sure the marble flooring is really nice, and the antique lights

You sat outside under a dim streetlight, hoping the warm breeze would help clear your head. Unfortunately, the street was filled with Shinra workers returning home after a long day. It was so noisy, you couldn't hear yourself think, let alone try to decider the strangely written words on the heavily worn pages in front of you. “I am never, ever, going to understand this stuff.”
“Are you still struggling? I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. It took me years to unravel the mystery contained within those pages.” The very sound of Genesis's voice caused you to stiffen. Ever since he'd proposed to you, even if it was only in fun, you hadn't been able to look at him the same. Genesis walked directly in front of you and chuckled. “Does the very sight of me still fluster you that much?” He dropped down to one knee and gently lifted your chin, making your eyes level with his. “Surely my performance was not so very flawless.
