You wanted to hate that church. You wanted to hate being anywhere near what took her away. What took him away.
But it was one of the only peaceful places left. The wrecked roof allowed the rain to pour in; nearly flooding the place. The poor flowers, as if a sign of the worlds sadness, had wilted under the heavy rain. You stood in the rain, your face upward and eyes closed. The heavy rain allowed you to do what you had longed to do since that time. Warm tears intermingled with the cold stinging water; hitting the half dead flowers below. Many survivors crowded against the walls for shelter. But this was almost all of the survivors there were. Almost all of them were children.
No one bothered you, and while you were grateful for the chance to let loose your feelings, there were so many things you didn't want to think about.
After the loss of Aerith, you had blamed him. You couldn't help it. You were upset, and though you hadn't

You took a deep breath. The meteor monument was finished.
It was killing you. You couldn't tell if he was sincere, or using you...but if he was tricking you, he was more intelligent than you had thought. He officially had you stumped. This man...was very different from the Rufus Shinra you had previously known. "Well?" The man's smooth voice interrupted your thoughts. "I'm asking for your help." You narrowed your eyes at him. This plan of his, if indeed a trick, was a very well played one. The man you had met before would never have admitted needing help. He didn't ask for anything, and if he commanded something...You were one to know just how scary he could be when not obeyed.
Helping him could be dangerous.
But if he wasn't trying to force you into his plans...helping him may be the better option.
Then again, despite the soft smile on his face, the four Turks in the room could very easi

You were staring into a crystalline lake.
Or at least, that's what you thought at first glance. It took you a moment to realize that the bright blue was not water, but rather eyes. Realizing that you were staring, you quickly looked away. But it didn't matter. He wasn't looking in your direction. He wasn't even looking at your father. The eyes that had so entranced you were focused on the floor, and the man they belonged to was knelt in a bow. Golden hair stuck out in every direction, though it was much more tame around his face. You realized for the first time that he was speaking, and probably had been for awhile. "...So you see, it isn't safe for you here, your majesty."
You realized that he must be talking about the current situation of the war. And you had missed the details. "I will stay here." Your father spoke in a commanding voice, as he always did, but the King was getting along in years, and was in no way fit for travel. And yet...yo

“Since Yuffie really could be back at any time, I should probably start playing the game her way again, which means it's ladies pick from here on out.” Zack smiled weakly as he helped you from your seat and led you towards the still very full hat. “Sorry guys, but that's just the way it's got to be. Maybe if we're lucky she'll decide to stay gone this time.”
While Zack was still talking, you sneakily reached your hand into the hat and pulled out a small, black button. There were quite a few players wearing black, so figuring out the owner wasn't going to be an easy task. Without saying a word, you went from player to player, trying to find a match for the button. Surprisingly, it only took you a minute or two to find the owner. Sure you had the right person, you lazily looked up from his dark coat and held the button out to him. “This is yours, right?”
“Yes, it is.” Ignis nodded, taking back the item and standing to hi
